]]> If you are behind in your tax obligations and the IRS debt collection agencies are calling, you are most likely fearful and trying to avoid the calls.  That is the worst thing you can do.  As with anything in life, if you face the problem head on and are proactive about dealing it, the fear will subside because you will be in control.

So many people try to avoid financial problems rather than just dealing with them.  Sometimes it’s because of not knowing what to do, and sometimes it’s simply fear.  Regardless of the reason, you must take control and evaluate your options.  I don’t guarantee many things in life, but I guarantee that if you work proactively with the IRS, the solution will be less painful than if you try to avoid it.
